Congressman Troy Balderson, representing Ohio’s 12th district, shared updates and remarks through a series of Twitter posts. Balderson, who succeeded Pat Tiberi in 2018 and has a background in the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate, relayed information on energy policy, legislative activities, and support for actions under President Trump’s administration.

On April 4, Balderson announced that “members of the House Energy Action Team met with industry experts to discuss the growing demand for American energy and threats to the reliability of our electric grid.” He also reaffirmed that “House Republicans are unified in our push to make America more energy secure.”

On April 5, Balderson expressed gratitude to the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce for the opportunity to address attendees at their annual Legislative Luncheon. He tweeted, “Thank you to the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce for inviting me to speak at yesterday’s annual Legislative Luncheon! It’s been a busy year so far on Capitol Hill, and I appreciated the opportunity to share what I’ve been working on.”

Further emphasizing support for the current administration, on April 7, Balderson commended President Trump, noting, “President Trump has taken decisive action to protect American workers and has successfully brought other countries to the negotiating table in less than a week.” He added that, “Under the president’s bold leadership, we will reshore critical supply chains and bring high-paying manufacturing.”
