Senator Tim Schaffer recognized several state champions from the 20th Senate District during an Ohio Senate session in Columbus.
Schaffer awarded a resolution to Reagan Knapp for winning the State Championship in wrestling for the 145-pound class at Pickerington North High School. Similarly, Pickerington Central High School’s Lady Tigers were acknowledged for clinching the Division I State Basketball Title. The senator presented them with a resolution, acknowledging their achievement and the pride it brought to their community.
The Pickerington North High School Cheer Team also received recognition for winning the 2025 Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators Division I State Cheer Championship.
“These tremendous athletes excelled in extremely competitive sports that requires both teamwork and great individual skill,” Schaffer stated. “We could not be more proud of them. I know this success will lead to a bright future for these exceptional young women.”
