Highlights of the Pickerington Schools Board of Education Meeting

The following are selected highlights from the November 14, 2022 Regular Board Meeting held at the District Office located at 90 North East Street in Pickerington.

The Board accepted, with regret, the resignation of Jonny Henesy as Pickerington High School Central and Ridgeview Junior High Assistant Athletic Administrator effective November 12, 2022. We wish Mr. Henesy all the best in his new position!

The Board approved the appointment of April Anda as Administrative Secretary for the Technology Department at District Office. Please join us in welcoming our newest staff member!

The Board has approved an increase in the minimum wage to $10.10 per hour and an increase in certain sub wages. 

The Board approved a service contract with OhioGuidestone to provide behavioral health and support services. 

The Board discussed adding, deleting, or revising numerous board policies pertaining to restraint and seclusion, the preschool program, entrance requirements, health services, and more. 

The next Board of Education regular meeting is scheduled for November 28, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Minutes and policies are located on the BoardDocs website.
