Congressman Troy Balderson, representing Ohio’s 12th district since 2018, has been vocal on various issues through his social media posts. Born in Zanesville, Ohio in 1962, Balderson has a background in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate. In recent tweets, he addressed topics ranging from energy policy to international relations.

On November 18, 2024, Congressman Balderson highlighted his participation at COP29 with Republican colleagues to advocate for "the return of American energy leadership." He emphasized that by utilizing America's natural resources and boosting energy production, the U.S. could "export clean, reliable LNG to our allies while meeting growing" needs. The full post can be viewed here.

The following day, November 19, 2024, Balderson shared his experience meeting with Madelyn and Gabe from Ohio during their visit to Washington D.C. for @AIPAC’s leadership summit. He noted the importance of discussing "the strong and enduring relationship between the United States and Israel." More details are available here.

On November 20, 2024, Congressman Balderson criticized financial regulators for allegedly promoting a "woke climate agenda" instead of focusing on law enforcement. He expressed concern over administrative efforts to pressure banks away from investing in oil and gas projects which he believes threaten critical energy initiatives in Ohio and compromise American energy security. His statement about new legislation addressing these concerns is accessible here.
