Troy Balderson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 12th district since 2018, has been active on social media addressing various issues. He succeeded Pat Tiberi and has served in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate prior to his current role.

On January 27, 2025, Balderson tweeted in observance of Holocaust Remembrance Day. He emphasized the importance of remembering the six million Jewish lives lost and standing united against tyranny and hate: "On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the six million Jewish lives lost to tyranny and hate. We must remember their stories and stand united in declaring #NeverAgain."

The following day, on January 28, he addressed his followers with a brief statement regarding the objectives of House Republicans: "For House Republicans, our mission is clear." The tweet was succinct but implied a focused agenda for his political party.

On January 29, Balderson announced that President Trump had signed the Laken Riley Act into law. This legislation aims to enhance community safety while honoring Laken Riley's memory: "The Laken Riley Act was just signed into law by President Trump. With this legislation, we honor the memory of Laken Riley by making our communities and country safer for all."
