Congressman Troy Balderson, representing Ohio's 12th district, recently shared his views on agriculture and environmental regulations through a series of tweets. Balderson has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2018 after replacing Pat Tiberi. He has also held positions in the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate.

On March 11, 2025, Congressman Balderson acknowledged Ohio Ag Week by highlighting the significant impact of agriculture in the state. He noted that "Agriculture is a $124 billion industry in Ohio–powered by 76,000 farms across the state." He expressed gratitude to farmers and growers for their contributions to food supply.

The following day, March 12, 2025, Balderson thanked key figures for addressing environmental regulations. In his tweet, he stated: "Thank you to @epaleezeldin & @POTUS for reining in the Biden Admin's most radical environmental regulations—including the Clean Power Plan 2.0." He emphasized that this decision would bolster the economy and enhance American energy dominance.

Later on March 12, Congressman Balderson announced his legislative efforts against certain environmental policies. He declared: "I'm leading the legislation to nullify the Biden-era Clean Power Plan 2.0." Balderson praised Administrator Zeldin and the EPA for reconsidering what he described as a "dangerous rule."
