Congressman Troy Balderson, representing Ohio's 12th district since 2018, has been actively engaging with his constituents and promoting legislative initiatives through social media. His recent tweets reflect both his personal interests and legislative priorities.

On June 9, 2025, Congressman Balderson expressed enthusiasm for the annual Ride to Work Day at the U.S. Capitol. He described it as one of his favorite days of the year, highlighting the unique commute experience in Washington and emphasizing road safety. "It’s one of my favorite days of the year—the annual Ride to Work Day at the U.S. Capitol!"

The following day, on June 10, 2025, Balderson addressed concerns about the interconnection queue for power projects. He referenced a statement by Secretary Wright regarding prioritizing impactful power projects and promoted his GRID Power Act as a solution to reduce wait times for grid connections. "Bogged down and broken—that’s the current state of our interconnection queue."

Later that same day, he thanked the American Motorcyclist Association for organizing Congress's second annual Ride to Work Day. He mentioned enjoying a ride around Washington D.C., accompanied by Shawn Thomas and Louise Powers. "Thank you again to the American Motorcyclist Association for helping organize Congress’s second annual Ride to Work Day."

Troy Balderson was born in Zanesville, Ohio in 1962 and has lived there throughout his life. Before serving in Congress, he was part of the Ohio House of Representatives from 2009 to 2011 and served in the Ohio Senate from 2011 until he joined Congress.
