Congressman Troy Balderson, who has been serving Ohio’s 12th district since 2018, recently shared a series of tweets reflecting on significant events and engagements. Born in Zanesville, Ohio, Balderson has been active in public service for several years, including terms in the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate.

On May 6, 2025, Congressman Balderson marked National Nurses Day by acknowledging the contributions of nurses in Ohio. He expressed gratitude by stating “Happy #NationalNursesDay! Today, we celebrate the remarkable care, compassion, and strength of Ohio’s nurses. Thank you for all you do!”

In a tweet dated May 8, 2025, Balderson commemorated the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day (VE Day). He highlighted the bravery of servicemembers with his message: “Our nation is defined by the heroism of our servicemembers. On the 80th anniversary of #VEDay, we honor and remember those who put their lives on the line to defeat evil and defend freedom.”

The following day on May 9, 2025, Congressman Balderson attended a breakfast meeting with young business leaders in Licking County. Reflecting on this event he tweeted: “Great breakfast this morning with the next generation of business leaders in Licking County, where I had the chance to share my path to Congress. Grateful to the Licking County Young Leaders for a thoughtful conversation and warm welcome!”

Troy Balderson has been an influential figure since taking over from Pat Tiberi in U.S. Congress in 2018. His career also includes roles within state-level legislative bodies.
