Dear Pickerington Schools students, parents, and fans,

On Tuesday, February 14, it’s Tigers vs Panthers at Pickerington North! Nothing matches the excitement of cheering on our Tigers and Panthers! Our cross-town rivalry is unmatched in the quality of our basketball teams and in the passion with which our fans support those teams. This amazing experience does not happen on its own. We depend on our athletics staff, safety and security personnel, and local police to move thousands of people safely in and out of the Pickerington High School North campus. This only works when we all demonstrate patience and mutual respect for each other and full cooperation with the safety guidance and protocols.

We are asking that every student, parent, and fan attending Tuesday’s game take personal responsibility for a safe and positive basketball experience that reflects the best of Pickerington Schools.

So, let’s do it right on Tuesday! Tigers and Panthers, together we will be taking the following actions to ensure a fantastic and safe basketball game:

  • Please purchase tickets through the Pickerington High School North Box Office. There are no cash sales! Student/Family tickets will go on sale at 8 am on February 11. You will need your student ID number to purchase tickets. General admission tickets will be released for purchase 8 am on February 13.

  • Due to the expected attendance at this game, Pickerington Schools staff badges, Pickerington Lifetime passes, and PoPP volunteer badges will not be accepted for admission.

  • Once the game is sold out, no additional spectators will be permitted in PN Main Gym without an already purchased ticket.

  • Panther fans must stay on the PN Main Gym home side.

  • Bookbags and large purses are not allowed in PN Main Gym.

  • No face paint, masks, or basketballs will be permitted.

  • Any fan that appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted into the venue.

  • Children under the age of 13 are not permitted in PN Main Gym without parent or guardian supervision.

  • Fans are not permitted to rush the court.

  • Adult Panther and Tiger fans are expected to be positive role models for our younger fans! You are expected and encouraged to display good sportsmanship.

  • Violation of these rules will result in consequences including, but not limited to seat relocation, loss of ticket buying privileges, ejection from the facility without a ticket refund, and/or arrest.

  • Students are expected to adhere to the Pickerington Schools Student Code of Conduct at all times. Students who violate our code of conduct risk significant consequences.

Pickerington Schools is a strong community and passionate about its basketball teams. Our fans,  guided by our Pickerington Schools Fan Code of Conduct, show how much they support and love our teams at every game. We have so much to be proud of with our schools.
