Fairfield Medical Center issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.
Each November, we look forward to celebrating and remembering those impacted by lung cancer. Due to COVID-19,
we made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s in-person event in order maintain the safety of all those who would generally attend.
Despite the circumstances, we will continue to honor and support lung cancer survivors, advocates and loved ones.
While we are unable to gather in person, we still wanted to take some time to recognize and celebrate those affected by lung cancer.
