FAIRFIELD COUNTY, OHIO: Fairfield County Board of Commissioners Seeking Applicants for Board Membership for the Fairfield County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board

Fairfield County, Ohio issued the following announcement on Jan. 4.

The Fairfield County Board of County Commissioners is accepting resumes and applications for a vacancy on the Fairfield County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADAMH).

ADAMH is responsible for the planning, funding, and monitoring of mental health, addiction, and recovery services in Fairfield County. The ADAMH mission is to promote healing and recovery for persons with a mental health or addiction disorder within our community. Board member positions are volunteer positions, and the County Commissioners are seeking dedicated, qualified applicants to begin serving immediately for a term to expire June 30, 2022.

Board and committee meetings are scheduled by ADAMH. Regular attendance and a commitment to furthering critical projects are required.

All interested parties are encouraged to apply, and each application will be thoughtfully considered.

Candidates with strong leadership backgrounds, financial expertise, and a passion to serve the clients of the ADAMH Board are sought.
