PLSD parents,
We wanted to provide the latest on the lockdown situation that occurred at PHSN and Lakeview Jr. High today. Fairfield County Sheriff’s deputies took a person into custody tonight who is believed to have issued the threat which caused the lockdowns. It is important to state that at no point were students or staff in danger — the threat came from outside of the buildings.
Classes will resume tomorrow as normal at all schools with an additional law enforcement presence as a precaution at PHSN and Lakeview. Contact your child’s school if you have any questions regarding the school day tomorrow. We thank the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office for their quick response and investigation of this incident.
